17. Revenge

I had finally found him. Him, the one that destroyed my life; the one that sent all of them to hell; the one... that took her away from me. I had been waiting for this day for years. Unsheathing my hand made knife, I slowly crept through the darkness. Even the rain pouring down my face did not extinguish the flame of vengeance that burned within my soul. I alternated between multiple objects; him never noticing a thing. I climbed the rafters onto the area above him. Silently crawling over to his location, I saw he was still unknown of my presence, him staring at the high full-moon, without a care in the world. How I wanted to end him. When I heard him sigh, I turned away. Luckily, he hadn't seen me. When he went to leave, I knew it was my chance. I jumped down in-front of him, knife in hand. "What are you doing here?!" He said, eying the blade. I decided to give him a short, honest answer. "Returning the favor", I muttered, before I drove the blade into his chest. I knew I had hit the heart, for I could feel all of the blood trickle down onto my shirt. As his body drooped over me, I pulled the knife from the corpse, pushing the body to the floor, to rot or deteriorate or whatever. 'An eye for an eye' I believe the phrase is. An eye for an eye, a life for a life.

nah its cool. I admit that my work lately has been…somewhat lacking existence, but right now I'm just trying to last through high school and get this f**kin story of mine published after 5 f**kin years ^^
